How it works

Get Active Victoria provides people with tools to help them move more.

To get active at home, we offer free guided videos of workouts, challenges and games – there’s something for everyone, regardless of age or ability. Plus, we offer up-to-date and evidence-based articles about health and wellbeing.


  • Get Active Victoria is open to all Victorians, but you’ll need to join to access all the free tools.
  • After joining, you’re able to create or join a team to get active with friends, colleagues or family.
  • Our Activity Tracker is also free and syncs up automatically if you have a Fitbit.


It’s recommended that adults do at least 30 minutes of physical activity a day – and kids need 60 minutes or more. Any type of physical activity counts, even incidental activity. You can even accumulate your 30+ minutes by combining shorter sessions of 10 to 15 minutes each.
